We Are Moving - Conval PSIWe Are Moving To A New Location!

NEWS RELEASE | A BOLD MOVE

Mississauga, Ontario – February, 2022 – Conval PSI is poised to expand our operations into a larger facility in Burlington Ontario.

It is our pleasure to announce that we are expanding our business with a new office location. In the wake of substantial growth in 2021, our two existing locations in Hamilton and Mississauga will be consolidated into one facility. We wanted to look for a space that could allow all employees to work together in a centralized location, while still increasing the physical space to accommodate future requirements. The larger footprint of the new workshop will benefit Conval PSI customers by offering much larger inventory to accommodate more automation and service needs. Customers will continue to work with their same Conval sales associate throughout and after the relocation.

The new office is located at:
3375 North Service Road, D 1-3
Burlington, ON L7N 3G2

We will be starting business at our new location on April 1st, 2022. Please update your records with our new address.

When a business has succeeded for over 50 years, it is because numerous people have contributed to building a reputation of excellence. Conval PSI is your local trusted supplier of municipal and industrial flow equipment and a leading source of expert advice. We want to thank you for your continued partnership as we reach this new milestones together.

If you have any questions regarding the move, please don’t hesitate to reach out to info@convalpsi.com

Data Center Security - Milwaukee Valves Can HelpThe need to cool down data centers is heating up.

As our world becomes increasingly dependant on technology, more companies are looking at outsourced cloud-based solutions, such as a data center, to store their data.

What is a data center?

At its simplest, a data center is a physical facility that organizations use to house their critical applications and data. Historically, large companies would store their own information within the building itself. However, in the past few years, there has been a shift to outsource data storage to large, undisclosed conglomerate data centers. Cloud computing is growing rapidly around the world and the cost of cloud system infrastructure services is forecasted to grow to $63 billion by this year. Companies are opting for outsourced IT Services in the cloud because it is less expensive than storing the information in-house and for the added level of security that comes with storing in a specialized facility.

Given the sensitivities of storing company information, the security and protection of the data is always the number one priority. The buildings are often inconspicuous and difficult to find to prevent burglary or theft. But one of the biggest threats facing data centers is the loss of environmental control. It should come as no surprise that a building comprised of computers and generators is at risk of becoming overheated. That is why data centers rely on MILWAUKEE VALVES to provide premium butterfly valves for use in their chilling systems and temperature control. Tom Enns, partner at Conval PSI says, “the quality, reliability, durability, and service makes MILWAUKEE VALVES the product of choice, and with Conval’s ability to automate these valves, it is a great combination”.

Cooling your data center can be your largest expense, especially if the system fails. When it comes to cooling systems for data centers, you only want the best products from brands that stand behind what they make.

MILWAUKEE VALVES is the trusted provider of cooling system valves to many data centers around the world. Conval PSI only partners with the most trusted product manufacturers in the industry, and we are a proud distributor of MILWAUKEE VALVES products.
